Air Fryer Flatbread Recipe

Enjoy crispy, golden-brown flatbread straight from your air fryer with this simple recipe. Perfect for sandwiches, dipping into sauces, or as a side dish for your favorite meals.

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 3/4 cup warm water

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt. Mix well to ensure the ingredients are evenly distributed.
  2. Create a well in the center of the dry ingredients and pour in the olive oil and warm water.
  3. Using a wooden spoon or your hands, mix the ingredients until a dough forms.
  4. Once the dough comes together, transfer it to a lightly floured surface and knead for about 5 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  5. Divide the dough into 4 equal portions and shape each portion into a ball.
  6. Using a rolling pin, roll out each ball of dough into a flat circle, about 1/4 inch thick.
  7. Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  8. Carefully transfer one or two flatbreads to the preheated air fryer basket, depending on the size of your air fryer.
  9. Cook the flatbreads in the air fryer for 5-7 minutes, or until they are golden brown and crispy, flipping halfway through the cooking time.
  10. Remove the flatbreads from the air fryer and repeat with the remaining dough.
  11. Serve the air fryer flatbreads warm with your favorite toppings, dips, or as a side to your favorite dishes. Enjoy!
