Almond Yogurt Cake Recipe

  • 1 cup almond flour
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup plain yogurt
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon almond extract
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • Sliced almonds (for garnish)


  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9-inch round cake pan or line it with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the almond flour, all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt until well combined.
  3. In another bowl, beat the eggs and sugar together until light and fluffy.
  4. Add the yogurt, vegetable oil, vanilla extract, and almond extract to the egg mixture. Mix until smooth.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.
