  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp thyme
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 1 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp salt

For the Steak and Shrimp:

  • 2 ribeye steaks (or your preferred cut)
  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tbsp olive oil (for cooking steak)
  • 2 tbsp butter (for cooking shrimp)

For the Alfredo Sauce:

  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste

For the Pasta:

  • 12 oz fettuccine or your preferred pasta
  • Salt (for pasta water)

Preparing the Blackened Seasoning:

  1. In a small bowl, combine paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, oregano, cayenne pepper, black pepper, and salt. Mix well.

Cooking the Steak:

  1. Pat the steaks dry with paper towels. Generously coat both sides of the steaks with the blackened seasoning.
  2. Heat 2 tbsp of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once the oil is hot, add the steaks.
  3. Cook the steaks for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until they reach your desired doneness.
  4. Remove the steaks from the skillet and let them rest for 5 minutes before slicing.

Cooking the Shrimp:

  1. In the same skillet, add 2 tbsp of butter.
  2. Once melted, add the shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until they are pink and opaque. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

Preparing the Alfredo Sauce:

  1. In a medium saucepan, melt 4 tbsp of butter over medium heat.
  2. Add the minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  3. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Reduce heat to low and let it cook for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. Gradually whisk in the grated Parmesan cheese until the sauce is smooth and creamy.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Cooking the Pasta:

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente.
  2. Drain the pasta and return it to the pot.

Combining Everything:

  1. Pour the Alfredo sauce over the cooked pasta and toss to coat evenly.
  2. Plate the pasta and top with slices of the blackened steak and cooked shrimp.
  3. Garnish with additional Parmesan cheese and fresh parsley, if desired.
