Cajun Corn On The Cob Recipe

Transform your ordinary corn on the cob into a zesty Cajun delight with this simple recipe. Bursting with flavor, this dish will add a spicy kick to any summer barbecue or gathering.

  • 4 ears of fresh corn
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 teaspoons Cajun seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)
  • Lime wedges (optional, for serving)

  1. Begin by husking the corn and removing any silk strands. Rinse the corn under cold water and pat dry with paper towels.
  2. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. If using a charcoal grill, wait until the coals are hot and glowing.
  3. In a small bowl, mix together the melted butter, Cajun seasoning, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder until well combined.
  4. Brush each ear of corn generously with the seasoned butter mixture, making sure to coat all sides.
  5. Place the corn directly onto the grill grates. Cook for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until the corn is tender and slightly charred.
  6. Once the corn is cooked through, remove it from the grill and transfer it to a serving platter.
  7. Sprinkle the corn with additional salt and pepper to taste. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley if desired.
  8. Serve the Cajun corn on the cob hot, with lime wedges on the side for an extra burst of flavor. Enjoy!

Note: If you prefer, you can also boil the corn instead of grilling it. Simply cook the corn in boiling water for about 5-7 minutes, then follow the remaining steps as instructed.
