Elevate your deviled eggs game with a spicy Cajun twist! These Cajun Shrimp Deviled Eggs are packed with flavor and make for an impressive appetizer or snack.

  • 6 large eggs
  • 12 medium shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
  • 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
  • Paprika (for garnish)

  1. Hard boil the eggs: Place the eggs in a saucepan and cover them with water. Bring the water to a boil over medium-high heat, then reduce the heat to low and let the eggs simmer for 10 minutes. Remove the eggs from the water and place them in a bowl of ice water to cool completely. Once cooled, peel the eggs and slice them in half lengthwise. Carefully remove the yolks and transfer them to a separate bowl.
  2. Cook the shrimp: In a bowl, toss the shrimp with Cajun seasoning until evenly coated. Heat a skillet over medium heat and add a drizzle of olive oil. Cook the shrimp for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until they are pink and cooked through. Remove from heat and let them cool slightly.
  3. Prepare the filling: Mash the egg yolks with a fork until they are smooth. Add mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, salt, and pepper to the mashed yolks. Stir until well combined. Chop half of the cooked shrimp into small pieces and add them to the yolk mixture. Reserve the remaining shrimp for garnish.
  4. Assemble the deviled eggs: Spoon or pipe the yolk mixture into the hollowed-out egg whites. Arrange the filled egg halves on a serving platter.
  5. Garnish: Chop the remaining shrimp into smaller pieces and place a piece on top of each filled egg half. Sprinkle with chopped parsley and a pinch of paprika for color and flavor.
  6. Serve: Serve the Cajun Shrimp Deviled Eggs immediately as a delicious appetizer or snack. Enjoy!
