Cheesy Twisted Bread Recipe

  • 1 pound (450g) pizza dough, homemade or store-bought
  • 1 cup (100g) shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup (25g) grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons (30g) unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • Marinara sauce, for dipping (optional)


  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it with cooking spray.
  2. On a lightly floured surface, roll out the pizza dough into a large rectangle, about 1/4 inch thick.
  3. In a small bowl, mix together the melted butter, minced garlic, dried oregano, and salt.
  4. Brush the butter mixture evenly over the rolled-out dough.
  5. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan cheese evenly over the dough.
