Chicken Ricotta Meatballs Recipe

These chicken ricotta meatballs are a flavorful twist on the classic Italian dish. Tender and juicy, they’re perfect for pasta, sandwiches, or enjoying on their own.

  • 1 lb ground chicken
  • 1/2 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1/3 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • Olive oil, for cooking

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken, ricotta cheese, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, egg, parsley, oregano, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.
  2. Using your hands, shape the mixture into meatballs of your desired size. Place them on a plate or baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  3. Heat a drizzle of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Once the oil is hot, add the meatballs in batches, making sure not to overcrowd the pan. Cook for 3-4 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
  4. Once cooked, transfer the meatballs to a plate lined with paper towels to drain any excess oil.
  5. Serve the chicken ricotta meatballs hot with your favorite sauce, pasta, or as desired. Enjoy!

Makes approximately 16 meatballs. Adjust seasoning according to taste preferences.
