Cooker Beef Stroganoff Recipe

  • 1 1/2 pounds beef stew meat, cubed
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 cup sliced mushrooms
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 12 ounces egg noodles, cooked according to package instructions
  • Chopped fresh parsley, for garnish (optional)


  1. In a slow cooker, combine beef stew meat, diced onion, minced garlic, beef broth, sliced mushrooms, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, paprika, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine.
  2. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, until the beef is tender.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together sour cream and all-purpose flour until smooth.
  4. Stir the sour cream mixture into the slow cooker, mixing well with the beef and sauce.
  5. Cover and cook on high for an additional 30 minutes, until the sauce has thickened slightly.
