Deliciously crispy and bursting with garlicky heat, these hot wings are perfect for any occasion. They are baked to perfection and then tossed in a fiery garlic sauce that will leave your taste buds tingling.

  • 2 lbs chicken wings
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup hot sauce (such as Frank’s RedHot)
  • 1 tbsp honey (optional)
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

  1. Preheat Oven:
    • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and place a wire rack on top.
  2. Prepare Wings:
    • Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture. In a large bowl, toss the wings with baking powder, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder until evenly coated.
  3. Bake Wings:
    • Arrange the wings in a single layer on the wire rack. Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, turning them halfway through, until the wings are crispy and golden brown.
  4. Make Garlic Hot Sauce:
    • While the wings are baking, melt the butter in a small saucepan over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes. Stir in the hot sauce and honey (if using), then remove from heat.
  5. Toss Wings in Sauce:
    • Once the wings are done, transfer them to a large bowl. Pour the garlic hot sauce over the wings and toss until they are well coated.
  6. Serve:
    • Garnish with chopped fresh parsley and serve immediately. Enjoy your crispy garlic hot wings with your favorite dipping sauce!
