Dorito Casserole with Chicken

This Dorito Casserole with Chicken is a deliciously cheesy and crunchy comfort food dish that’s perfect for family dinners. It combines shredded chicken, creamy sauce, and zesty Doritos for a quick and easy meal that everyone will love.


  • 3 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1 (10.5 oz) can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 (10.5 oz) can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 (10 oz) can diced tomatoes with green chilies (Rotel), drained
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1 bag (10 oz) Nacho Cheese Doritos, crushed
  • 1/4 cup sliced black olives (optional)
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions (optional)
  • Fresh cilantro, chopped (optional)


  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, cream of chicken soup, cream of mushroom soup, diced tomatoes with green chilies, sour cream, chopped onion, and taco seasoning. Mix well.
  3. In a 9×13 inch baking dish, spread a layer of crushed Doritos on the bottom.
  4. Pour half of the chicken mixture over the Doritos layer.
  5. Sprinkle half of the shredded cheddar cheese over the chicken mixture.
  6. Add another layer of crushed Doritos, followed by the remaining chicken mixture.
  7. Top with the remaining shredded cheddar cheese.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the casserole is bubbly and the cheese is melted and golden.
  9. Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes.
  10. Garnish with sliced black olives, chopped green onions, and fresh cilantro if desired.
