  • 1 ½ pounds ground beef
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • ¾ cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper


  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, chopped onion, beaten egg, milk, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are thoroughly combined.
  3. Transfer the mixture into a lightly greased 9×5-inch loaf pan, or shape it into a loaf and place it on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
