  • 2 ribeye steaks (or your preferred cut)
  • 4 medium potatoes, washed and diced
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish (optional)

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Season the steaks generously with salt and pepper on both sides.
  3. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add a tablespoon of butter to the skillet.
  4. Place the steaks in the skillet and sear for 2-3 minutes on each side, until nicely browned. Remove the steaks from the skillet and set aside.
  5. In the same skillet, add another tablespoon of butter. Add the diced potatoes and cook until they are golden brown and crispy, about 8-10 minutes.
  6. While the potatoes are cooking, melt the remaining butter in a small saucepan over low heat. Add the minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes, until fragrant.
  7. Place the seared steaks and crispy potatoes on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  8. Pour the garlic butter sauce evenly over the steaks and potatoes.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the steaks are cooked to your desired level of doneness.
  10. Remove from the oven and let the steaks rest for a few minutes before serving.
  11. Garnish with chopped parsley, if desired, and serve hot.
