  • 1 lb (450g) sirloin steak, cut into strips
  • 1 lb (450g) baby potatoes, halved
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, divided
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish


  1. Season the steak strips with salt and pepper on both sides.
  2. In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium-high heat. Add the steak strips and sear until browned on both sides, about 3-4 minutes per side. Remove the steak from the skillet and set aside.
