  • 8 ounces of pasta (linguine or spaghetti works well)

  • 4 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons of butter
  • 1/4 cup of fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • Grated Parmesan cheese for serving

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside, reserving 1/2 cup of pasta water.
  2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil and butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Increase the heat to medium-high and add the shrimp to the skillet. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until they turn pink and opaque.
  4. Season the shrimp with salt, pepper, and crushed red pepper flakes if desired.
  5. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet along with the chopped parsley. Toss everything together until the pasta is well coated with the garlic-infused oil.
  6. If the pasta seems dry, add some of the reserved pasta water a little at a time until you reach your desired consistency.
  7. Serve the garlic shrimp pasta hot, garnished with grated Parmesan cheese. Enjoy your delicious meal!
