Honey Baked Ham Recipe

This recipe brings out the sweet, succulent flavor of ham with a delightful honey glaze. Perfect for any special occasion or holiday feast.

  • 1 spiral-sliced ham, about 7-9 pounds
  • 1 cup honey
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C).
  2. Remove the ham from its packaging and place it in a large roasting pan, cut side down.
  3. In a small saucepan, combine the honey, brown sugar, Dijon mustard, apple cider vinegar, ground cloves, and ground cinnamon. Heat the mixture over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the sugar is dissolved and the glaze is smooth.
  4. Brush half of the glaze over the surface of the ham, making sure to get it into the slices. Use a basting brush or spoon to evenly coat the ham.
  5. Cover the ham loosely with aluminum foil to prevent excessive browning.
  6. Bake the ham in the preheated oven for about 1 hour, or until it reaches an internal temperature of 140°F (60°C). Baste the ham with the remaining glaze every 20 minutes.
  7. Once the ham is fully cooked, remove it from the oven and let it rest for 10-15 minutes before slicing.
  8. Serve the honey baked ham slices with the remaining glaze on the side for extra flavor.

Enjoy your delicious honey baked ham with family and friends!
