Lettuce Wrap Burgers Recipe

Enjoy the juicy goodness of a classic burger without the guilt with these delicious lettuce wrap burgers. They’re low-carb, gluten-free, and bursting with flavor!

  • 1 pound ground beef (or turkey)
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 large lettuce leaves (iceberg or butter lettuce works well)
  • Your favorite burger toppings (sliced tomato, onion, avocado, cheese, etc.)
  • Condiments of your choice (ketchup, mustard, mayo, etc.)

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef (or turkey) with Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well until the seasonings are evenly distributed throughout the meat.
  2. Divide the meat mixture into four equal portions and shape each portion into a patty. Make sure the patties are slightly larger than the size of your lettuce leaves, as they will shrink slightly when cooked.
  3. Heat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the burger patties and cook for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness.
  4. While the patties are cooking, prepare your lettuce leaves by rinsing them under cold water and patting them dry with paper towels.
  5. Once the patties are cooked, assemble your lettuce wrap burgers by placing a cooked patty on each lettuce leaf.
  6. Top the patties with your favorite burger toppings and condiments.
  7. Carefully fold the lettuce leaves around the burger patties, securing them with toothpicks if necessary.
  8. Serve immediately and enjoy your guilt-free lettuce wrap burgers!

Note: Feel free to customize your lettuce wrap burgers with additional toppings such as bacon, sautéed mushrooms, or pickles for added flavor.
