Minced Chicken Puffs Recipe

  • 500g minced chicken
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
  • 1 teaspoon curry powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1/4 cup frozen peas
  • 1/4 cup carrots, diced
  • 2 sheets puff pastry, thawed
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)


  1. Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F).
  2. In a large skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and cook until translucent.
  3. Add the minced garlic and grated ginger to the skillet, and cook for another minute until fragrant.
  4. Add the minced chicken to the skillet, breaking it up with a spoon, and cook until browned.
  5. Stir in the curry powder, cumin, salt, and pepper, and cook for another minute.

  12. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown and crispy.
