Pineapple Glazed Pork Tenderloin Recipe

This recipe combines the savory tenderness of pork tenderloin with the sweet tanginess of pineapple glaze for a delightful dish that’s perfect for any occasion.

  • 1 pork tenderloin (about 1-1.5 lbs)
  • 1 cup pineapple juice
  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon grated ginger
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Optional: Pineapple slices and fresh cilantro for garnish

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the pineapple juice, soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, and ginger to make the glaze. Set aside.
  3. Season the pork tenderloin with salt and pepper on all sides.
  4. Heat the vegetable oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the pork tenderloin and sear for 2-3 minutes on each side until browned.
  5. Pour the pineapple glaze over the pork tenderloin, ensuring it’s evenly coated.
  6. If you’re using an oven-safe skillet, transfer it directly to the preheated oven. Otherwise, transfer the pork and glaze to a baking dish.
  7. Roast the pork tenderloin in the oven for about 20-25 minutes or until it reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C), basting with the glaze halfway through.
  8. Once cooked, remove the pork tenderloin from the oven and let it rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing.
  9. Garnish with pineapple slices and fresh cilantro if desired.
  10. Slice the pork tenderloin and serve with any remaining glaze drizzled on top. Enjoy your delicious pineapple glazed pork tenderloin!
