Savory Italian Meatloaf Recipe

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 lb ground Italian sausage
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1 egg, lightly beaten
  • 1/4 cup marinara sauce


  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a loaf pan with cooking spray or olive oil.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, ground Italian sausage, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, onion, garlic, oregano, basil, salt, black pepper, red pepper flakes (if using), and beaten egg. Use your hands or a spoon to mix until all ingredients are well combined.
