Shrimp Linguine Recipe

A delightful and easy-to-make shrimp linguine that combines succulent shrimp with a garlic and lemon-infused white wine sauce. Perfect for a quick yet elegant dinner.

  • 12 oz linguine
  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1/2 cup dry white wine
  • 1 lemon, zested and juiced
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste

  1. Cook the Pasta: In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook the linguine according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Sauté the Shrimp: In a large skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes per side, until pink and opaque. Remove shrimp from the skillet and set aside.
  3. Prepare the Sauce: In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of olive oil. Add the minced garlic and red pepper flakes (if using) and sauté for about 1 minute, until fragrant.
  4. Deglaze the Pan: Pour in the white wine and bring to a simmer. Cook for 2-3 minutes, allowing the wine to reduce slightly.
  5. Combine Ingredients: Add the cooked linguine to the skillet, along with the shrimp, lemon zest, lemon juice, and chopped parsley. Toss everything together until well combined. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Serve: Divide the shrimp linguine among plates and sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese. Serve immediately.
