  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 packet taco seasoning mix
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent rolls
  • 1 can (16 oz) refried beans
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup crushed tortilla chips
  • 1 medium tomato, diced
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1/2 cup sliced black olives
  • 1/2 cup sour cream (optional)
  • Salsa (optional)

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until it is no longer pink. Drain any excess fat.
  3. Add the taco seasoning mix and water to the skillet with the ground beef. Stir to combine and simmer for about 5 minutes, or until the mixture thickens.
  4. Unroll the crescent roll dough and press it into the bottom and up the sides of a 9-inch pie dish to form a crust.
  5. Spread the refried beans over the crescent roll crust evenly.
  6. Spoon the seasoned ground beef over the refried beans.
  7. Sprinkle 1 cup of the shredded cheddar cheese over the beef layer.
  8. Sprinkle the crushed tortilla chips evenly over the cheese layer.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes, or until the crescent roll crust is golden brown.
  10. Remove the pie from the oven and sprinkle the remaining 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese on top. Allow the cheese to melt.
  11. Let the pie cool for a few minutes, then top with diced tomato, shredded lettuce, and sliced black olives.
  12. Serve with a dollop of sour cream and salsa on the side, if desired.
