  • 1 pound (450g) ground beef

  • 2 cups (475ml) whole milk
  • 2 cups (475ml) heavy cream
  • 4 cups (about 400g) shredded cheese blend (such as cheddar, mozzarella, and Monterey Jack)
  • 1/4 cup (30g) all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup (55g) unsalted butter
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup (30g) breadcrumbs (optional, for topping)
  • Chopped fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish and set aside.
  2. Cook the elbow macaroni according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned and cooked through. Remove any excess grease.
