Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven:
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish or line it with parchment paper.

  • In a medium bowl, combine the melted butter, 1/2 cup of sugar, and 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract. Mix until well combined.
  • Add the 2 cups of flour and 1/4 teaspoon of salt to the butter mixture, and stir until a dough forms.
  • Press the dough evenly into the prepared baking dish, making sure to cover the bottom completely.
  • Bake the crust in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until lightly golden brown. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly.
